Step 2: Unpack the files

Unpack the compressed files that you downloaded to manually install the PDI client, utilities, and plugins.

Complete the following steps to unpack the compressed files.

CAUTION:

Do not use Unarchiver 3.3 to unpack files because Unarchiver 3.3 might corrupt the plugin file names.

1. Locate the files that you downloaded in Step 1: Download files.

2. Unpack the pdi-ee-client-10.2.0.0-<build number>.zip file into a temporary directory.

3. If you downloaded the pdi-ee-client-10.2.0.0-<build number>-hadoop-addon.zip file, unpack the file into a temporary directory.
