# Open the Database Connection dialog box from PUC

Perform the following steps to open a new database connection in PUC:

1. Log on to PUC, then click on **File** > **Manage Data Sources.**

   The Manage Data Sources dialog box appears.
2. Select **New Connection** in the **More actions and options** menu.

3. Enter your data connection information and test.
