# Step 1: Download files

To install the Pentaho system and optional plugins, you must first download the compressed files that contain the software.

Complete the following steps to download compressed installation and plugin files from the [Support Portal](https://support.pentaho.com/hc/en-us).

1. On the [Support Portal](https://support.pentaho.com/hc/en-us) home page, sign in using the Pentaho support username and password provided in your Pentaho Welcome Packet.
2. In the Pentaho card, click **Download**.

   The Downloads page opens.
3. In the **9.x** list, click **See all \<number> articles** to see the full list of **9.x** downloads.
4. On the **9.x** page, click **Pentaho 9.3 GA Release**.
5. Scroll to the bottom of the Pentaho 9.3 GA Release page.
6. In the file component section, navigate to the `Pentaho Server/Manual Build (No Web Application Server)` folder.
7. Download the files for the following Pentaho components.

   The following table lists the file to download for each Pentaho component.

   | Component                               | File                                                       |
   | --------------------------------------- | ---------------------------------------------------------- |
   | Pentaho Server Installation File        | `pentaho-server-manual-ee-9.3.0.0-<build number>-dist.zip` |
   | (Optional) Dashboard Designer Plugin    | `pdd-plugin-ee-9.3.0.0-<build number>-dist.zip`            |
   | (Optional) Interactive Reporting Plugin | `pir-plugin-ee-9.3.0.0-<build number>-dist.zip`            |
   | (Optional) Pentaho Analyzer Plugin      | `paz-plugin-ee-9.3.0.0-<build number>-dist.zip`            |
8. In the file component section, navigate back to the `9.3.0.0-GA` folder.
9. Click the `Operations Mart` folder.
10. Download the `pentaho-operations-mart-9.3.0.0-<build number>-dist.zip` file.
