# Boxplot chart

A boxplot chart displays the distribution of a data set based on its five-number summary of data points. The five numbers values are:

* Minimum
* First quartile
* Median
* Third quartile
* Maximum

The chart is drawn as a box with a vertical line down the middle, with horizontal lines known as whiskers attached to each side. You can drill-down into your data by double-clicking the boxplot chart.
