Use the following parameter to configure the Volume Monitor interval for Cloudera Manager.

| Parameter             | Description                                                                                                                                                                |
| --------------------- | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **MONITOR\_INTERVAL** | Value used to specify how frequently, in minutes, the Volume Monitor checks the health of the Data Optimizer volume. As a best practice, set the interval to five minutes. |
