# Data Optimizer alerts

Pentaho Data Optimizer gives the alerts for Ambari. In addition to standard service alerts that Ambari gives for all services, the Data Optimizer installation delivers an alert called **PDSO metadata store verification**. This alert monitors the volume’s metadata database and alerts users if there is evidence of corruption.
