Acquire a Trial License File

Note: You should have already completed the steps to download Pentaho. You should have also received instructions to download the Trial License file via email (Subject: Your 30-Day Pentaho Trial Activation Key Inside). Follow the instructions below ONLY if you haven't downloaded the trial software or received Trial Activation instructions via email.

You can obtain a temporary Pentaho trial license to test the product. The temporary license expires thirty days after the start of the evaluation period.

1. To request a trial license file, go to the Pentaho download page on the Hitachi Vantara website.

   Alternatively, contact the Pentaho Sales team.

2. On the download page, click Start a Free 30 Day Trial to open the trial registration form.

3. Complete the trial registration form and click Submit.

   The link to the trial license file will be sent to you via email.

4. Download the trial license file. You will need this after you have completed the installation of Pentaho.

5. Follow the rest of the steps to Download the trial software and complete the installation. Instructions to use the trial license file are included in these steps.
