Data Integration perspective in the PDI client

The Pentaho Data Integration perspective of the PDI client (Spoon) enables you to create two basic file types:

• Transformations are used to perform ETL tasks.

• Jobs are used to orchestrate ETL activities, such as defining the flow and dependencies for what order transformations should be run, or preparing for execution by checking conditions.
