# Create Snowflake warehouse

The Create Snowflake warehouse entry creates a new Snowflake virtual warehouse from within a PDI job. This entry builds the warehouse with the attributes you specify. For more information about working with Snowflake in PDI, see [PDI and Snowflake](/pdia-data-integration/9.3-data-integration/advanced-topics-pentaho-data-integration-overview/pdi-and-snowflake-cp.md).

You can create a virtual warehouse to address your specific business needs. Within the step, you can set size, scaling, automated suspension, and other properties for your warehouse. Later, if your business needs change, you can adjust the specifications of your warehouse using the [Modify Snowflake warehouse](/pdia-data-integration/9.3-data-integration/pdi-job-entries-reference-overview/modify-warehouse-pdi-job-entry.md) job entry.

For more information about Snowflake warehouse settings, see the [Snowflake](https://docs.snowflake.net) documentation.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.pentaho.com/pdia-data-integration/9.3-data-integration/pdi-job-entries-reference-overview/create-warehouse-pdi-job-entry.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
