Edit configuration files for users
Ask your Azure administrator to download the configuration files from the platform for the applications your teams are using, and then edit these files to include Pentaho-specific and user-specific parameters. These files are then used to create a named connection. These files are embedded in the named connection xml file which can be found under user's directory: <username>/.pentaho/metastore/pentaho/NamedCluster. A file with a named connection is created when you create a named connection. In addition to this file a folder with a named connection name is created <username>/.pentaho/metastore/pentaho/NamedCluster/Configs/<user-defined connection name>. You will find config.properties under that folder which contains additional configurations for the named connection. Please save the edited file in a location for future use. Modify the following files and provide them to your users:
