File tab

Use the Files tab to select input files.

Option	Description
Filename is defined in a field?	Select the checkbox to accept filenames from previous steps.
Get filename from field	Select the field that will contain the filenames at runtime from the list.
File or directory	Specifiy the location, or location and name of the input database file. Click Add or Browse to add the file, directory, or wildcard combination to the Selected files table below.
Regular Expression	Specifiy the regular expression you want to use to select the files in the File or directory field.
Exclude Regular Expression	Specifiy the regular expression you want to use to exclude the files in the File or directory field
Selected files	View files and directories that you selected. You can select a file or directory and click Edit to update the wildcards that were used to include or exclude the file or directory, specify whether a file or directory is required, and select whether to include subfolders in a directory. If a required file is required and it is not found, an error is generated.
Show filename(s) button	Click to display a list of all files to load, based on the file definitions settings defined in the File tab.
